DRUNK TURKISH MAN GOOSES AND ASSAULTS THAI GIRL IN TONY‘S PUB, PATTAYA’S WALKING STREET

A drunk Turkish man was arrested at Tony‘s Pub, Walking street, South Pattaya on May 21, 2008, charged with molesting a Thai girl. He was fined Bt1,000 for slapping the girl in the face and had to pay damages for "goosing" her (grabbing her bottom).

Pattaya - On May 21, at 2.30am, responding to a molestation report, Pol.Lt. Aniwat Thicharn, Pattaya Investigator, sent out a team to investigate. When police arrived at Tony's Pub, a popular dance and pick-up venue in Walking Street, they found an altercation going on between the affronted victim, Miss "J" (alias),(25) from Nakorn Rachasima province, her two friends and the assailant, Mr.Aydin Goktepe (45), a Turkish citizen.

After calming down the irate ladies, police learnt that Miss "J" and her two friends were quietly drinking a beer and watching the singer in the pub, when Mr. Goktepe,an apparently drunk stranger came up and grabbed her bottom. Shocked and alarmed, she called on her friends to help, while letting the drunk Turk know in no uncertain terms how affronted she was.

Rather than express remorse, the assailant laid into her, pulling her hair and slapping her frequently round the face. She was too taken aback to retaliate and Mr.Goktepe chose at this point to waltz out of the pub. Rather than let the abuser escape scot free, she alerted security to restrain him and also notify the police. Shortly after, the police arrived and tried to make him to apologise, but still being intoxicated Mr. Goktepe refused to admit liability, so the police whisked him down to the police station for investigation.

Eventually, at Pattaya Police Station, Mr. Goktepe admitted his guilt, but pleaded drunkenness as his excuse and a belief that all Thai girls were easy and he could do whatever he wanted with them. The police, however, didn't share his opinion and fined Mr.Goktepe Bt1,000 for abuse and also insisted he compensate Miss "J" for his assault on her virtue.

what a <deleted>! Just yesterday arvo I was in a bar in BKK when this young American walks in with extreme attitude. He buys the girls nearest to him and all the bar staff drinks.
