According to an article in the english press some time ago, millions of Baht worth of rice has disappeaed.Since then I have not seen another mention of that subject. Anyone looking for the lost goods?

I take it you are joking.

Rice, being considered food, is usually eaten.

After a short period of time for processing, it is forwarded on the step of its journey

I don't seriously think that anyone is indeed looking in septic tanks and sewer lines for missing rice.

Short of you accepting this most rational reasoning, I suggest taking a look at Makro. There are more tons of rice on pallets there , and many more different brand names, than I have ever seen.

This happens every year. Nobody knows nothing. Soon the warehouse will undoubtedly seek bankruptcy protection after having taken out billions in loans, which no one will recall where it went either. Seldem any press followup, as there isn't going to be an investigatiom and a new outrage will need that column space tomorrow.
