On a more serious note, it is indeed harder to hook up with "normal" women over here in Patters.

Simple fact of life is that a huge majority of the foreigners walking around here are tourists coming to visit the shadier side this town has to offer. They are in general not interested in long term relationships.

So it's kind of hard for the local lasses to decide whether you are something worth hooking up with for a real relationship, or you are just another one of the blokes ready to dump you after he talked you in the sack.

In bangkok there are several area's/pubs where the local expat crowd hangs out (most often relatively high paid), so you have much less of a problem with that above mentioned social stigma.

In short, the problem is not really the women, but more the majority of the foreigners walking around here in Patters!

You'll have to get away from beach road/walking street I can pretty much assure you none of the serving girls in one of the Jamesons type of pub will offer you a "short time"!

I have to agree with Monty on this. The girls/ladies are normal. Its the the life here in Patters that is abnormal.

They are all looking for a better life and some manage to get lucky.

Once there was a time, when your comment was true.

Like decades ago, the dream of a "working girl" in Pattaya was to find a foreigner who would marry her and take her out of the country. Nowadays it is surprising to learn how many girls do it for pure business objectives. Nobody to blame.

However, I would not judge a "working girl" as "normal". By this you would judge the millions working in factories etc. as being "abnormal".

2. Go to the opticians and do the same. Great uniforms.

Anyway, these 'methods' have never worked for me which is why my gf is a complete slut from Soi 6 and I'm known in all opticians and property showrooms throughout the greater Pattaya area. I wish you better luck.

Thats how i met my current girl ,but it was a 1M Baht Condo .In a way she has cost me 1M .Maybe a bar girl would have been cheaper
