Teaching In Krabi?

I have grown quite fond of Krabi province, and I'd like to get a job teaching English there in March 2005. Does anyone here have any advice, info, links or anything else for me? I checked Ajarn.com with no results.

I am a 27 year old native speaker (American), but have no degree. I am enrolled in a TEFL course in Thailand in February. Do you think it'll be difficult to land a job 'right out of gates' in Krabi with no degree or experience? Or, could it be challenging for another reason (job shortage, etc.)?

While I was in Krabi, I was offered some jobs. But they were under the table, so I was not interested. They even had some non-native speakers teaching English there.

Why does it seem when I type a message in the Teaching forum, my grammatical and spelling errors are at their worst?
