I was thinking of doing some traveling in Japan in the near future and thought of whether I could get a Thai multiple entry Non O visa while I'm there.

Has anyone tried or have heard that it's possible to get in Japan?

Otherwise, I may decide to go to Europe instead. Can anyone suggest a nice and not too expensive city in Europe with good food and where I can get a Non O visa easily?

I am under 50 years of age and do not want to have to show supporting documents.

Japan is not the most helpfull embassy. In your case, you don't even seem to have a reason which qualifies you for a non-O. Uk, (Hull) ans Australia (Perth) will issue based on visiting friends.

Yes I would be visitng friends, as I do have friends here. So that is a reason which qualifies me for a non-O visa isn't it, at least from Hull and Perth as you mention?

I'm not really interested in doing any traveling in Hull or Perth, so how about the European consulates?

Can anyone suggest a nice and not too expensive city in Europe with good food and where I can get a Non O visa for visitng friends (without needing supporting documents)? e.g. Switzerland?

Thanks for the replies about Japan. I think I'll go there some other time just for leisure.
