I would like to rent a motorcycle (preferably something resembling a scooter, but if the price is right...) for 1½ month. Anoyone who can recommend a dealer in the Jomtien area? And a price quote?

i have my own motorcycle but i always send my friends to "mai pang" motorcycle rental in the jomtien complex. it is in the complex on the small soi next to the condos next to the family mart and pretty girl massage. tic is the owner and speaks fluent english and has a huge farang long time clientel. very honest and reliable. i am renting one for my girlfriend right now and it think it was 2500 per month

I rent a car until my bought one arrives. Been renting from Qcars for a long time, very happy with them. I understand they also rent motocy. Worth a try. Maybe not the very cheapest, but reliable.
