Master Chief
Why does a body and sweaty clothes smell strongly amoniac? A guy takes regular showers every day and uses deo on body and arm pit. After using t-shirt for a day after laundry, the shirt and body smell amoniac directly after transpiration. T-shirt is ruined. People near this guy react to the body odor. Can anyone explain this? Laundry detergent brands have been changed regulary! Changed deo brands also! Health check is normal! So why the amoniac odor?
Ratsima
Many possible causes. Does the guy exercise a lot? On a low carbohydrate diet? Could be from the metabolism of amino acids for energy. This happens when you run low on blood glycogen. Might try consuming more carbs. Could also be a helicobacter (the bacteria that causes stomach ulcers) infection which can be cured with antibiotics. Might also be early signs of kidney or liver failure, but you said health check was normal. Did they check liver and kidney function?
