Featured Replies

Hi there

Im doing a visa run to Rnaong to activate my second entry on tourist visa x2. Do I need to bring anything with besides my passport?? Also I will be going 6 days before this first entry expires, is that going to be ok??

Cheers

If you are going to Burma from Ranong then currently you need a photocopy of the ID page from your passport for Burmese Immigration.

Also if you are not going with a visa run company (which often provide you the dollar bills) then remember to bring ten dollars in pristine/uncirculated bills to keep Burmese immigration happy, plus some small cash for the long-tail; which will be between 200-500 THB depending on your negotiation skills and crossing requirements.

There is now a 'one stop' Thai passport control point on the waterside immediately to the right of the pier.
