noise
Does anyone know what kind of this bird this is? My wife is a CNX native and has never seen one like before. It was looking for insects but accepted rice when we threw it to him, which made us think he might be an escaped pet. So is he or is he not a native to the area? T_Dog
So here is another mystery bird I see every day early in the morning. It is very elusive and rarely flies. It would rather run through the brush. When other birds are at our feeders, it will fly in and then zig-zag around chasing all the other birds away. Stands about 10 inches tall, maybe a foot. Sorry the pics are so poor but like I said, it is elusive! Anybody know what it is? It has a beeping call to its young and is a lot of fun to watch. It has a very short bob tail.
