Wifi In Koh Samet?

Featured Replies

i was thinking of going to samet for a couple of days but i will still need to work (online)- does anyone know if any of the resorts have wifi or LAN internet in the rooms these days?

We were on Samet last week - Tubtim have a 'Pay to Use' wifi at Bht90/hr but it doesn't reach the bungalows and can only be effectively used from within the area around the main reception desk.

In my experience the speed of internet on Samet is quite simply useless. The internet cafe near the National Park entrance would probably be your best bet for skype although it keeps cutting out. Another option might be to saty in a place called 'Indian Summer' come off the ferry and turn right (approx 1KM) instead of going into national park, the wireless connection here was quite good and even better, free if you bought a drink.
