Well I took a walk down there today, plenty of Arabs for sure, but no supermarkets or Halva..... this is getting tiring..

I used to go to a Lebanese restaurant located in Ploenchit Center (next to JW Marriot). I never saw any Halva there, but the owners were quite customer friendly. Maybe they can help you locate it? But, I'm not even sure if they are still there. It's been a couple of years.

This company is out of Israel, they do ship. http://www.halva.co.il/

Please keep us updated. The photos on the website got me drooling. :o

The Beiruit Restaurant is back in the basement of Ploenchit Center by Villa Supermarket is quite nice and I notice that a lot of TVers frequent it. No halva though.

Happy to see they are still there. They have some of the best schwarma sandwiches and middle eastern style salads.

However everything on the menu, was always fresh and delicious.

I gotta get out more, just thinking about that place makes me hungry.

Great falafel sanwiches and iced coffee too! :o

The Villa in Ploenchit Center sometimes carries Joya brand Halvah. It's been a couple of years since I bought it there though......

I don't believe this...jews eat halvah...lebanese Christians eat halva...and a great international city like BKK ain't got no halvah???

.

don't sound right...conspiracy time... :o

Still no joy!! I cannot believe this.... NO HALVA in Thailand

Ask Zaza, she will tell you where to buy some Halva in BKK :o

OK;OK! :o

I just got it now! we do pronounce it differently though :( ; but when I had received your PM ; I never had any idea what you are talking about :D so I googled it and I found out that "you are looking for (Arabic sweets); :D !

The fact is ; there is none in Bangkok :D ;but I always give away the ones that I receive from back home;I can't eat it anymore (for certain reasons) :D

I will PM you whenever I receive a pack of those delights. Bring me chocolates in return :D
