Immunizations In Bkk?

Featured Replies

My wife and I will be teaching in BKK next year. Are there t-dap and hep A immunizations available there? We know that the hep A shot is a 6 week set of 2 shots, and we leave in 4 weeks! It may be cheaper to get them there, since our insurance doesn't cover it here in the US. Thanks.

A couple years ago I had to get a Typhoid and Hep A vaccine. I was able to get them Udon Thani with no problems. I had to go to a large hospital to get it. I did have to talk to a doctor who asked why I wanted it. I told he it was for my job, and I got them no problem. Don't remember how much I payed, but it was very cheap compared to western countries. You should have no problems in Bangkok. I would ask at Bumrungrand (Spelling?) Hospital. Lots of Falangs go there. I don't think you will have any problems.
