Nice photos.

But I'm more impressed with the scanning results than pics themselves (nothing wrong with the photos though). :o

Did you use film scanner or flat bed?

Excellent photos.

I like the people sitting on the wall in the first one, they give a good idea of the scale.

The second shows what can be done with a wide lens..........

wheat half the height of the windmill. :o

Do you remember the focal length? 21mm?

I used to drive past this place every day on my way to and from the office. Often, if I'd had a stressful day, I would spend some time sitting on that wall, overlooking the English countryside, and just chill out and wind down.

It was a bit precarious at times as the farmer frequently grazed his bull there and the site was so expansive you couldn't always determine if the bull was around! The windmill itself was set deeply into the site and many a time I'd hiked halfway there only to catch site of the bull (and him of me) and needed to make a hasty retreat.

Kept me fit for many a year believe me!

Good memories and glad I lived to tell the tale :o
