The body of a "farang" was found this afternoon on the beach of HinKong.

It seems that this person remained a few days in water before he arrived on the coast :o

yesterday it was a thai guy, when I came back from samui, but had not the time to verify? Could be the same story. Try to get news tonight at the small talk.

Bodies don't last long in the water, baco, unless the guy was alive recently it is highly unlikely it his body. Most likely, if it is a Thai, it is a fisherman washed over from one of the big boats out at sea.

I was asking a bit around here, but nobody seems to be interested on this topic or know something yet. Life goes on....

I have it on good authority the body was not a farang.

Unfortunately, a Thai or Burmese fisherman's body washing up on shore of the island is a fairly common occurrence. I have heard of quite a few in the years I have lived here.

It would seem that the body was one of the 3 people who disappeared more than ten days ago, following a sand barge which would have been failed between Surat Thani and Koh Phangan.

The first body was already found, in front of the Thong Sala, on the small island of birds.
