Hi to you all, my GF will shortly be coming to the UK for a vacation. I was wondering if we should consider taking some sort of travel/medical insurance for the duration of her stay. I always purchase a yearly travel/medical insurance policy which cost me about £35 and luckily I have never had to use it but you never know and I always feel safer with it.

Is there some equivalent she can purchase in Thailand or maybe there is something I can organise from this end.

If she was to have an accident the NHS would never in a million years turn her away whether she has travel/medical insurance or not.

But as i dont agree with foreigners using the NHS for free as too many have taken far too many liberties my advice is to get some.
