Internet ordering

I'm having difficulty finding BC-02 ink cartridges in Khorat's internet shops . . . I'm guessing Canon is no longer making the printer I have so no one's carrying the BC-02 cartridges anymore SO I placed an order for a Canon printer ink cartridge from "Shop4Thai" on June 28.

Every time I check the order I've placed with "Shop4Thai", it's "In progress". I've emailed "Shop4Thai" asking if they have a shop in Khorat. It is now July 4. No one has responded to the email and the order is still "In progress".

I'm thinking this is 'a sign' and I should give up trying to order via the internet and go back to walking from one IT shop to another in hopes someone has a BC-02 cartridge for sale somewhere. At the same time, I'm basically lazy and I like the idea of the cartridge delivered to my door . . . but when the email isn't even answered, I wonder how I'd ever trace a paid order.

Has anyone else successfully ordered and received products sold via the internet in Thailand from Thai websites?

Am I leaving myself wide open for nightmares?

:-) My current office is almost next doors to theirs (shop4Thai). Let me know if you want me knocking on their door and make an enquiry for you...

I have made purchases from Shop4thai and found them to be very professional and prompt with delivery. I do always send a request prior to placing an order to make sure everything on the order is in stock and I am very pleased with them and would not hesitate to use them again.

I might add that I live in the far north east part of Thailand in a very small village and got 2 day delivery of my order which arrived well packed and fresh product for all items.

I would try to cancel the order and then start again but this time ask them if the cartridge you are looking for is in stock before you place your order.

Good Luck and do hope you find your cartridge.

Dear CqK,

For the ordering step, once we have received an order we will check with our supplier whether the ordered item is available and will email back to our customer. If the customer select Bank Transfer as a payment, order status will be in progress until we get confirm of the payment.

I have checked your order recorded and you have made an order on 28 June 2008, which is Saturday and it is our holiday. Our staff have checked the stock and inform you back on 30 June 2008 to inform that the product is currently in stock and waiting you to confirm the order and make a payment. We have not yet received any of your reply mail so the order status is still "In Progress". I have just emailed your back again after reading this topic on Saturday night and not yet received your reply mail. I am not sure whether you have received our email or not, and whether our email is stay in your Junk filter or not. If you do still would like to order, could you please contact our sales back at http://www.shop4thai.com/en/contact/ or telephone number 0 2717 0200.

Thank you very much. It appears I'm not receiving their emails . . . I'll see if I can get that cleared up first.
