Bringing In Laptop

Featured Replies

Coming over next week for awhile. Anyone had any experience of bringing a lap-top with them? I guess I just have it in my hand luggage and hope I don't have to pay any duty on it... or should I declare it?

Just trying to get a feel for the best approach, any advice appreciated.

Thanks :o

if you only use it for non commercial maybe they will ask for a deposite that you will not take it sale but if you travel on business no problem

but anyway normaly nobody is checking you therefor

If the laptop's not in mint condition or not in a box then I doubt that you'll have any trouble bringing it in as "no items to declare". Laptops are common, and I seriously doubt that you'll be singled out for yours.

Thanks, that is what I was hoping.

There should be no problem.

The customs at Don Muang are used to all and sundry carrying notebooks.

Just make sure you have a universal power brick, or at least one for 220Volts

Never had any poblems... :o
