:D

So you think no one does it then? :o

The thing with the Ronaldo situation though, is totally off the scale, in fact it has been down right disgraceful behaviour on Madrid's part, and that has even been seconded by other big clubs in Europe. Whilst I'm not suggesting that United have been right in saying some of the things in the past few days, it is very different to the Madrid backed Merca spin campaign.

I'm sure that Fergie will be happy to stick his chewing gum where the sun doesn't shine when he gets Berbatov. :D

I'm afraid he's right mrtoad. Let's face it. Ferguson has a history of this. Remember his approaches to Rio Ferdinand during the World Cup? And yet when someone talks to his in-contract players, he gets apoplectic.

Great great manager, but has ridiculous double standards.

Bendix, my point is that they all do it. Spurs hardly have a great reputation, considering there antics last season in recruiting Ramos as their manager. IMO the whole thing is so far widespread from grass roots level to the very top, that illegal approaches to players is jsut an accepted part of the game. I'm not for one saying that it is right though.

of course they all do it, it's part of the game. ferguson is arguably the biggest hypocrite of the lot so it's nice to see him get a taste of his own medicine from madrid over ronaldo.

daniel levy's hypocrisy is quite outstanding however in the week after spurs pretty much stole john bostock from crystal palace.

They are all hypocrites, but whilst Ferguson is no saint , I can't recall him ever being as outstanding as the behaviour of Madrid, hence the reason that even other "big" clubs have supported him on this.

This Berbatov ManU link has been in the press for more then a year now, surely that is up there with the Ronaldo situation as its now apparant theyve made a bid.

Fergie is a champagne socialist NuLabour supporter who's son is according to the BBC a corrupt football agent (wonder how he got that job), the perfect attributes of a deluded hypocrite.

I

give over man. ferguson's conduct when pursuing van nistelrooy and stam was every bit from the madrid tapping up playbook. not to mention his sending francesco totti a man utd shirt with totti's name on it every year on his birthday. . . .
