Surin In November

Featured Replies

is it hard to get rooms in smaller hotels during the month of november? around 14-15-oddish dates. will the price increase due to the elephant festival?

and i remember there is a lake for picnics and stuff, do people go there during weekdays?

thanks, i only went for a school's expedition before so i didn't remember details like those. :o

Book now, and remember the festival has changed to 21st 22nd & 23rd. Cheapest hotels for that weekend around 1,000 baht for aircon, 800 baht for fan. Book through my website http://www.farangconnection.com

You are probably thinking about Huay Senning. It is normally quiet during weekdays and no swimming but there are still plenty of places to eat/drink. During the Elephant Festival timeperiod it is likely be busy every day

believe me i'd wished to but my pals can only can confirm the dates due to work schedules in october. thing is, im not that keen in going for it but would the whole month be affected by the festival?

no of course not

Only applies to the actual dates of the festival, say start the day before till day after. The TAT-site should have all actual dates in their calender.

Please note that also all Transport will be fully booked in advance, bot bus and train. There will be extra trains from BKK-both ways overnight-giving bookings a daylong to see it the ''chang=elefants''
