By The teachers' council of Thailand discipline is concerned with teaching license year 2004 assign to foreign teachers have to pass the test and evaluate knowledges by rules and methods which The teachers' council of Thailand assign. And teachers' council

made teacher license rules and training course for foreign teacher about culture and ethics of teaching vocation and teaching skill testing course by teachers' council board approval.

The testing for teaching license details are as follows:-

*** Fill in application form for testing registration in www.ksp.or.th since Aug. 14 - Sep. 4,08, and send this form by online,in case want to edit data in application form ,it have to be done before Sep.4, 08.

Notes:-application form sample is in http://203.146.118.135/v_teacher/docs/b07.pdf but the real one will online after Aug.14,08 in www.ksp.or.th

*** Every foreign teacher have to pass 4 subjects testing and 20 hours training course so can have teaching license and 4 subjects are:-

1.Language technology and information innovation of language.

2.Classroom administration and development course.

3.Education research and evaluation.

4.Teaching psychology.

All are multiple choice examinations( 5 choices chosen ) and testing fee is @Bht.1,000/subject.

*** Test on early of October,2008 don't inform the date yet and announce the result two months later.

*** Along testing or waiting for testing result you can take 20 hours training course from Suan Dusit university.The details about training course is in this webpage

The 20 hour seminar costs anywhere between 4000 to 8000.

The 5000 that you are talking about is the seminar fee.

That will be three days of listening to Thai instructors.

On top of that, you would have to take an exam and pass it.

650 questions, 4 parts, 1000 baht per part... 4000 all in all.

Teachers with a degree in education will not be required to take the exam.
