bubbles
Hello all, Apologies if this sounds like a really stupid question. My friends tell me that I must have 6 months remaining on my passport when I visit Thailand. My passport expires December 08 and I due to visit Sept 08, so it only has 3 months to run, I would be taking the 30 day VOA, so would still be inside my passport expiry on date leaving. Do you guys (or girls ) see a problem with this? Again sorry for the question, Bubble
Mario2008
Your friends are right, you will need to get a new passport.
Lite Beer
One thing. As a UK passport holder you are not entitled to a VOA. What you are referring to is a 30Visa Exempt Stamp. Not the same thing.
Crossy
IIRC the UK are adding unused validity (up to 9 months) onto your new passport, so you shouldn't lose any time
