Thai music with guitar solo's ? :D

I don't care to much about the song's name.

It is the music that counts :o

I respect your double'-ironic aspade' response Dutch.

My fave band is LedZep , they didn't waste too much time on Album names.

Guitar solo's?

That's another post.

:D

btw I do like Carabao and Smile Buffaloe amd Mai C....

I'm with you on that, Dutch. Don't care one iota who pens and sings the music. I'm a Floydie myself but can listen to anything from classical to hip/hop to dance, with the exception of jazz. For me, it's not important what they're singing, I listen to the music and chords they're hitting. No 1 tune of all time for me, albeit not Thai, is Shine On You Crazy Diamond by Pink Floyd. Doesn't matter what sort of mood I'm in, when I hear those first few bars of keyboard, I'm hooked. :o

These are my favorite at the moment...

Fon Tanasoontorn : ฝน ธนสุนทร

Kor kae khon sood tai : ขอแค่คนสุดท้าย

Pee chai chua kraaw : พี่ชายชั่วคราว

Bird + Sek : เบิร์ด + เสก

Nan tao rai kor ror : นานเท่าไหน่ก็รอ

Song pen nueng : สองเป็นหนึ่ง

Loso - โลโซ

took lom hai jai : ทุกลมหายใจ

proong nee : พรุ่งนี้

Please note... my Thai CD catalogue consisits of about 5 CD's at the moment , also I don't necessarily know what these songs are about.. I'm working on that at the moment !!  :o

Well so I'm not the only Farang who loves Fon, she's got a lovely voice, and then she's quite beautiful as well, I listen to her on www.ethaimusic.com

  • 3 weeks later...

I once saw Taxi play live at The Glass Home, Bangkok. I thought they were OK on CD, but they were really good live. The singer had a real presence and at times they reminded me of UK punky bands.

(They threw out a signed poster which my girlfriend's got - might be worth 100 Baht in years to come)!
