what is the best translation for "พื้นที่ทับซ้อน"? Does it mean "disputed territory"; "territory subject to dual claims"; or some other legal term?

In layman terms we often see 'overlapping',so maybe overlapping claims, claimed by both parties, or as you say,disputed territory.
