Bloody Phone Cables

Jeesus, this is happening several times a year now!

This is seriously bad for me as I run a resort, so no faxes (lot of booking still come in through fax, especially from local companies), and even worse is that my credit card machine needs a phone line to clear bills.

I currently receive around 30% of my revenue through that machine :D

Estimated time to replace stolen cable is a week :o

No worries here Rimmer, my CAT internet is not affected as it comes through a coax cable!

use a web based fax service and find out about web based CC processing from your bank. :o

Well, gotta gives some kudo's to TT&T's engineers, saw at the roadside putting in a new stretch of cable, guess about 30 meters long, with a both sides a team reconnecting all the strands.

Phone lines are up and running as of early this evening!
