Is this newspaper still being distributed? I have not come across it at the locations where it is supposed to be found for ages now. Has it succumbed to the inevitable in attempting to attract enough interest in the population as a whole to a non-Thai language newspaper?

It's still in Starbucks, but your right I don't see being handed out like I did at the beginning. Also it has gone from bad to worse. It used to take me 10 minutes to read it and now it only take 3 to 5 minutes as there is nothing in it!

I predict an ending soon as I just don't think they have the paid advertisements.

It's in the Nation everyday but looking at the Nation website, the quality of journalism keeps getting better and better. Also check out the breaking news about Taksin calling his lawyer. It's only a matter of time for this paper IMO.

Samak to relocated 1,700 slums out of Bangkok

Prime Minister Samak Sundaravej said Friday that his government would relocate 1,700 slum communities out of Bangkok in the near future.

He said the communities would be turned into parks instead.

He was speaking at a seminar organized by the National Economic and Social Development Board on the visions for Thailand for 2027.

yeah it is an insert in the Nation daily... basically it isn't much better than the Nation used to be, it's just in a smaller format. not much in the way of good english mags in thailand. BK is the only one i really like and even that is meh.

No wonder it's free, as it is complete crap. It's still included in The Nation, which IMO opinion has continued to get worse. There really is very little to say positive about the English lnguage papers in Thailand. There are a few good articles from time to time, but it's all to infrequent. Thankfully there's still plenty of sources to read on-line.
