I'm being crippled by air freight costs. How much less does it cost and how much longer does it take to go by sea? Which companies should I be looking at? Does it matter if the products are produced in the north, far from the sea? Apologies for the schoolboy style questions :o

Details: Up to 60kg at a time but usually less, from Thailand to the UK. I can handle waiting up to a month if it means a considerable saving. Right now I'm having to pay B25000+ for big deliveries.

Thanks :D

Sea cargo to EU takes usually around one month.

Its' usually around 100 US for a cubic meter.

PLUS paperwork money for the first cubic meter.

Go to Pratunam and find one of the many cargo offices for

details.

There are lots of them, walk into a few to see whats different.

Look up the member 'Raro' and send him a PM. He works for a shipping company here in Thailand and will give you all the lowdown. I know he's sent stuff for fellow members who have all been delighted.
