I read in the news that there is going to be a big PAD rally in Bangkok tomorrow and they are planning to block off most of the entrances to the city.

What is wrong with these '<deleted>' people who think they are above the law.

When are they going to realise that they are nothing more than a nuisance to society.

Another thing that amazes me is that none of them seem to be working. Whose paying them to do this and how can they call themselves Democrats when they behave the way they do.

Their agenda is getting so insane now that many of their earstwhile supporters have fled the scene, instead you have now increasingly relaitives of military factions that support PAD agenda attending. Many of the Southerners there are supported by Southern Democrat Party MP patronage networks.

If you have a look at their rally site, they openly carry metal bars and other such weaponry.

The government is bad, they are worse, and the Democrats are loosing rapidly the last bit of credibility by openly supporting PAD.

Disgusting.

I don't suppose it could have occurred to you that many PAD supporters are hard working individuals with jobs who sacrifice income to attend demos. This decision by ordinary Thai people to give up income and increased risk to safety due to the govt's inability to ensure law and order at opposition rallies and ensure their democratic right to demonstrate is not taken lightly, but because they believe their country has a right to better, more accountable and transparent government. Your derogatory remarks show a poor understanding of PAD and what they stand for. If anyone is going to be blocking "most entrances to the city" (an impossible task anyway, so not sure where you got this fanciful piece of information?) then it will be the state trying to stop PAD supporters from attending the rally. Why don't you go along and talk to some people tomorrow at the rally - you might even learn something! :o

I wouldn't go anywhere near that rally personally- and there was an article in the Bangkok Post today about them blocking off the routes to the city.

These fanatics stand for:

-Risking war with Cambodia over a temple for purely nationalist reasons

-Asking on their stage for the military to come out of their barracks to stage another coup

-A political system that takes the worst of the Bolshewik systhem and the worst of feudal Europe, mix it together and call it "new politics"

They may have a democratic right to demonstrate, but they have no right to run around in arms, no right to demand unconstitutional overthrow of an elected government (regardless of it being not the most ideal government), and they have no right to block one of Bangkok's main roads for three months now.

Just because some neo Nazis in Europe protest against a government that you don't like either, would you support them just because they are the noisiest opponents? I doubt that. Why then supporting groups here in Thailand with a very similar political agenda?

I don't <deleted> get it - just because they run around in yellow, scream "Gu Chart" and sing folk songs doesn't make them any less fascist than they are.

From your confused posting about PAD's main aims, you demonstrate that you clearly don't "<deleted> get it".

Bringing Thaksin to justice for his numerous crimes against the country and kicking the present bunch of crooks out of govt through peaceful means are their main goals. The other stuff you mention is just hubris and mixed talk taken out of context and does not represent the more immediate aims to bring meaningful change to Thai politics, desired by so many ordinary Thais prepared to march in the sun, rain and state harassment for a better tomorrow. If you want to see fanatics, look no further than the more radical supporters of Toxin, Samak, Newin and PPP/TRT. Those hooligans and thugs are spoiling for a fight, that if allowed to happen, could take Thailand back decades and ruin hopes of a better future for a generation.

Clearly, the PAD are scum. There objective is not so much to kick anyone out, but kick a right-wing military junta back in. The threat of violence and intimidation are the weapons they use against the Thai people. They are truly an evil force!

I know the Thai political system may be hard to understand but your understanding of it certainly defeats my understanding,....if you can understand that ? Which I doubt...

And you are what exactly sunshine?

Long term observations of your style and content suggest you are one of the sad losers who accept money to write the vindictive misinformation you spew out daily on this site and no doubt, a few others as part of your TOR to your masters. What do they pay you to write this <deleted> I wonder? :o

Yes I have learned something. Switch on your TV. These 'dickheads' are armed with knives and metal bars. Totally against the law.....they should be locked up for a long time. They are nothing more than thugs.

PAD my arse. These people are armed thugs and bullies. Put them in prison and throw away the keys. Their intelligence is beyond belief. They will protest against anything and generally cause a nuisence for everybody.

Just because I don't spout the right-wing ultra-nationalist crap of the PAD and just because I value the opinions of the poor as much as the elite doesn't mean I am paid to do so! Some of us love the Thai people and hate to see it ruined by the likes of Sondhi and his right-wing hate squad.

On which channel and when did you see that??

They never had any weapons, so I guess they don't have weapons now.
