Just noticed this new place about 30m into town past the UN Irish on the same side of the street and quite near to the Royal which is around the back of it. Only had a quick glance at the menu which looked like it had all the UK Indian favourites and more. Anyone tried it yet?

I looked at the menu and noted that the prices seemed high for an un-airconditioned shop house even for an Indian restaurant.

It may be high quality great food though!

Tried it twice a couple of weeks ago. Manager's name Ravi. Great choice on the menu. Good sign was that the food took 15 - 20 mins to arrive and appeared to be cooked fresh to order. First time was Chicken Dopiaza which was 'tandoori' chicken style and was good quality if only a smallish portion. Second time was Chicken Bhuna which was 'on/off the bone' style and not as good quality. Tip is to ask them for half the Raita (mixed salad available) and save 25 baht. Would be interested to hear from anyone who tried some of the other dishes.

Good idea. So you can leave an even bigger tip for the staff, right? :o
