I have heard a rumour, without any real substance, that due to local (minor, second level) elections this weekend there may be bar closures once again.

However, none of the bars I frequent have yet received any police notifications.

Hopefully this will not happen, but has anybody else heard anything ?

Not heard a thing and non of my bar owner friends have phoned me.

Same here. Usually if there's going to be a closure, a bunch of the guys (which includes a number of bar owners) hop on the bikes and head somewhere else for the night.

I'll ask around this afternoon just in case.
