I was walking out of my class around 4 pm yesterday at BU (Gluay Nam Thai International Campus), and they were taping off the cafeteria, people were running out of the library above it, and everyone was wearing hard hats, and there were even a few people being carried away on stretchers.

I asked around and never got any real answers. Some thought that a gas tank in one of the cafeteria stalls blew up. I'm surprised that I can't see any news about this anywhere on the English news sites or Thai sites. There was a camera crew there, so maybe someone saw something on the news last night about it.

Any ideas?

I've got confirmation that there was an explosion.

Apparently, one person has died. All classes at the campus will be canceled on Monday.
