A poorly executed scheme? Surely not, not here in Thailand.
I lived in Surin and Bangkok for a total of 12 years and watched the country change in so many ways and not for the better in many ways. Went to Phnom Penh for a week, back to Bangkok for 2 weeks to pack up and relocated to Cambodia.
Best move I’ve made, for me it’s just much better and I haven’t seen any murders, assaults, stabbings or bag and phone snatches like the BS internet stories promote. It’s a fantastic country. Thailand for expats is quickly becoming paradise lost.
