2 Years Or 20,000 Km Subsitised Fuel

Some carmakers offer unlimited warranties, now subsidised fuel on offer. I wonder if GM Thailand will do the same.

CARMAKER GM Holden will move to subsidise fuel prices for its private customers for up to two years.

The company said today new Holden buyers before October 31 would have petrol or diesel prices capped at 99 cents a litre for 20,000 kilometres or two years, whichever came first.

The company would pick up the bill between the cap price and the retail price over that period.

Holden's executive director of sales and marketing Alan Batey said the fuel price cap would ease the pain of petrol and diesel prices.

"We will provide this cap across all segments to ensure the benefits are as widely available as possible, given that fuel prices impact all drivers regardless of the size of their car,'' Mr Batey said.

New Holden customers will be given a Holden 99c fuel cap debit card to purchase fuel for up to 20,000 kilometre

In most cases, within 48 hours of a fuel purchase the customer's nominated bank account will be debited to the value of 99c a litre purchased.

HAHAHAHA Sure they will, when snow is growing on trees and Thaksin is hailed as a hero of Thailand...

I am sure you must be joking because this must be the funniest thing I have seen, BUT if you are serious, I am so sorry and have to say that I doubt it will happen.

You can hope and dream but they will be crushed, is my guess.

GM Thailand operate in a Government(Japanese?) restricted market unlike i presume Australia ,so have no need to offer incentives like subsidised subsidised fuel. They would upset the other members/partners(don't forget Isuzu basis for the Colorado have strong links with Toyota).

So i agree with with snowflake HAHAHAHA

The question was a bit light hearted. It just goes to show what car makers will come up with to try and sell cars. This offer came shortly after the Holden Commodore was rated as Australians most petrol hungry car.
