MattFS218 Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 I'm tired of doing visa runs and want to consider forming a Thai company and having it request a Non Imm B Visa for me. What is the costs (filing and fees) for forming a company in Thailand? What are the yearly (accounting, etc) costs for running the company year to year? How much in taxes need to be paid to get a non-imm b visa for an American? How much of this can be avoided, if I do 90-day visa runs and skip the 1-year extensions? Has anyone done a price comparison, because double entry tourist visas, forming a thai company for a non imm b visa, and marrying a thai for a non imm o visa? I'm curious what the price comparisons are between the 3 options. --matt

Ongoing business just breaking even (ie not new start-up) you could expect to pay 300-400,000 per year. I would be very interested to see other peoples responses as very few accountant will tell you the over-all cost up front. One expat friend calculates on 1/3rd of invoiced transactions going to the man.
