Renting Rooms

Featured Replies

hi peeps. anyone out there renting rooms to thai,s. i find my self with a couple of rooms full of household goods, left by ex tenants. my question is whats the legal situation for getting rid of this stuff. plus can/when can i get rid/sell this stuff???. thanks for replies.

if you happen to have a sofa going spare i'll give it a good home.

what is left after the tenant has left is for you. You can sell it or throw away.

what if you lock them out for non payment of rent. is there a time scale , or can i sell to retreav my rent money.

simple answer. For non payment of rent, sell the entire contents for what you can.

agreed a simple answer. but is it legal??

when the tenats turns back, first has to pay due money and than you give him money from the sale (have in invoices, even hand written, with the name, address and phone number of the buyer) minus 10% for your hassle. Otherwise you are loosing money on not renting your 2 rooms, which you are using now as a storage rooms.
