bungalowbill
Does anyone know where in Chiang Mai I can buy tubes for shipping large posters?
jackr
Have a look in the stationery place on the top floor of Central within Khad Suan Kaew, Huay Kaew Road. They've got the heavy duty plastic ones in there with screw tops but not the cardboard ones last time I was in there. Upstairs in Robinsons (Airport Plaza) in the book store section might have that type.
Chuckler
i've used plumbing tubes for this before when the posters were exceptionally large. homepro is in the same complex as carrefour.
Blinky Bill
Lighter guage 3" or 4" PVC pipe is perfect, (I think this is what Chuckler means as well) it is cheap and readily available at all plumbing/hardware supply joints.

T_Dog
I went through this search a while ago too, and the best ones I found where at the government Post Office on the CMU campus. They are cardboard and you won't be able to break them over your knee. Selection varies greatly from visit to visit though.

T_Dog
They were under 50 baht. So thick you could build a house out of them! I mailed some rolled up paintings to the USA.
