I got a PM from a regular poster, saying he had gotten an error message when he tried to edit his own post. Not sure if he waited very long to try to edit it. So, how long currently do members have to edit their posts?

It used to be up to 30 minutes. :o

30 minutes it is... altho' I wonder if that's uniform throughout the forum software under different situations as I would swear that it had expired prior to 30 minutes on different occasions that I've tried to edit a post.

Isn't it possible to have the edit function blocked only after a post has been quoted or replied to, without any time limit?
