I would like to take in to Thailand my personal affects (without pay any taxes)So what do i have todo for become a foreigner that have the right to take in personal affects "moving goods" to Thailand?

don't you think paying the custom will be cheaper and faster?

You can only import your household items duty free if you are on an extension of stay for 1 year and have a workpermit. it must be the first extension of stay you are on and during the first 6 months of your stay. Look at cutoms website.

Mario. I think you'll find that you can also also do it with just a 'one year work permit'. You don't have to be on an extension - read the regulations carefuly.

Depends on what part you read. Under requirements I agree with you, but under documentations it states:

Nonresidents are required to submit the following documents:

1. The letter issued by the Immigration Department confirming that an annual temporary stay is granted;

2. A one-year (or more) work permit issued by the Department of Labor;

3. The letter from a relevant government agency confirming that a non-immigrant visa from the Immigration Department is granted and that working period in Thailand is not less than 1 year, for those entering Thailand as an expert, specialist, or under government contracts;

Thank you for your answer. I will check at customs webpages, but I hope that maybe you can explain better then if I read there. Here is excatly my case:

I have a car in my homecountry (that I have been the owner to for over 2 years now) the value of the car is over 4 miion baht. I come to Thailand and started a business (hotel and restaurant) and after around 1 year (30 of februari 2007)I recived 1 year visa and workpermit, after that (30 of April 2008) I recived one more 1 year visa and workpermit (valid to 30 of april 2009), so my question now , is this okey for bring in my car to Thailand (togheter with some household things) without pay any tax and duties, and is it some time I must do this, before its to late?

Use the search function about importing a car !! You can end up paying so much tax on that, it will bankrupt you !

It is to late to import your household goods duty free, as you should have done that within the first 6 months of your stay. Over your car you would have had to pay taxes anyway.

Regarding your car, you would indeed pay a lot of tax. So consider carefully if it is worth it. You are probably wiser to sell it and buy a new car here.

Forget importing your car.

Unless you have a one year extension of stay AND a work permit you will need to pay tax.

Find a Thai Forwarding agent and give them a list of what you want to import.

They should be able to negotiate a fixed fee for importing your personal effects.
