I also have a question on the matter.  Why is it that I can "cut & paste" text from the internet onto the forum but cannot do the same with photos?  The pics are already hosted by someone just as the text is.  Whats the difference?

What you need to do is to copy and paste the "location" of the image.

If you look at Ken's post - just a couple back from this one - he's got a little image in it.

I copied it into this post using the following method.

If you right-click on the image, you can click on 'properties' and find it's location.

In this case, it's "h t t p : / / i m g 32.exs.cx/img32/2943/hand_raised_sm_clr.gif"

Drag your mouse over this "location" text (make sure you get it all), right click on it and select "copy".

Now you can create your reply with this image in it: just click on the "IMG" button above the "Enter your Post" box.

Delete the "http://" that is already in the box - because you don't need it. Then right-click in the box, select "paste" and click on "OK".

The "location" of the original image will now appear in your post, with the "[ i m g ]" and "[ / i m g ]" codes at either end.

The image will now appear in your post - just like this one:

hand_raised_sm_clr.gif
