Taxi 1500bt from airport,no worries ! Who wants to get the bus?

I have used Oriental Escape transportation (which I found from the forum) and have been delighted with their service. Used them for 3 years now. Always picks me up to and from from airport and hotel and have even taken them to Hua Hin. Never a problem.

Pattaya is about 1,800 baht. Dependable and trust worthy in my opinion.

Just wanna say thanks for all the comments, got just over a week now before travelling.

Was a bit worried when those airport protests kicked off but seems I will be going now...cool.

Great tips about getting to Pattaya, I'll probably go via taxi but maybe not one on the hotel rank in Bangkok as suggested.

By the way I'll be in the Majestic Grande in Bangkok and the Tim Boutique Hotel in Pattaya if anyone has any thoughts on those choices.

After that I'll be heading to island beaches.

You can always get a van from victory monument to Pattaya they leave every 20 minutes and the charge is 150 baht a real good deal.
