Hi guys and ladys I intend to apply for a spouse visa for OZ very early next year for the thai wife dont think we will have a problem as she has been over OZ for a hoilday its just the Bl**dy paper work any how I belive i have to get Stat Dec done from friends ect form 888 ok have the form but my friends would not have a clue how to fill out what to say I know you have to State how you know the applicant and the applicant’s sponsor,and indicate how often you have been in contact with them also State whether you believe the relationship of the applicant and his/her

spouse/de facto spouse/interdependent partner to be genuine and

continuing, and give your reasons for your belief what i would like to show my friends is typical examples of what to write so anybody out there got typical examples thanks

You have the gist of it....just tell them what is required....

giving typical examples could mean you end with them all the same....that would be suss...just tell your friends what is required in their own words....

mate the 888 isn't hard to fill out... if your friends can't do it ur asking the wrong ones.

I got 4 Stat decs done, even got my mum and dad to do one each, since they had met my mrs when she camw here on hols. Just tell your mates not to waffle on too much, try to keep to the point and answer the question.

If the application (309/100) is lodged in Bangkok DIAC will require information on items 1 and 4. After two years when the second step is processed they will examine all four items.

Item 3 supports item 4 in the second step of processing.

Form 888s are used to determine the social aspects of the relationship after two years, read the information sheet attached to the form carefully along with the information to be supplied.

They may be used to support your claims. Remember these are third party statements and do not carry the same weight as information supplied by the applicant and sponsor.

Try your local Amphur Office....they will have someone who can do it.

Police Officers....Doctors...

The ruling is that it can be anybody who holds an equivalent position to those who can sign in Oz.
