Visa Options 90 Stamp

Hi, with out trying to sound like an idiot, but i am due to report or should say get my next stamp for another 90 days on the 21st of Nov 08

im currently in Bnagkok, and tried the search faciltiy but there is so much to try and filter out.

basically i need to renew my Non `0` and this is the 1st time i have done a visa run so:

can i ask the easiet way of doing it, ie which country is easiet to get to, i have thougt about going to pattaya and then getting one of the visa run companies there etc

OR

i can fly out to maylasia and have a week in kuala lumpur

1) do i need any special forms etc or any photographs to take with me, or is its a case of getting stamped on leaving thailand then getting a stamp on re-entry etc

2) is there any visa companies that operate from Bangkok, and what do the ex-pats use, ie whats the most preferred option etc

3) do you suggest using the pattaya route to either Cambodia or Malayasia or do many go to Laos or Burma if based in Bangkok

4) is the visa run likely to be a 1 day 1 night trip as wherever i go from bangkok it seems a distance to drive but the flight option seems easier but at a bigger expense,

5) the ones i know of are kuala lumpur and penang, i dont know the crossing in laos or burma or cambodia by name, can any enlighten me to the actual names of the crossing in this country`s

PS or can someone point me in the right direction towards forum threads etc, i would be happy to search and read up the forums if i had a head start

this being the 1st time for re-entry as usually i came previously on a 30 day stamp , but i want to get all angles covered

Yes you did post on the wrong forum. A mod will move it shortly to the "Thai visas, residency and work permits" forum

It sounds like you have a multiple entry non-o.

From Bangkok the best border run is to Cambodia. It's a same day trip. And yes there are lots of companies doing this run from Bangkok.

I am sure members that do this regularly will post with suggestions for the border run.
