30 Day Entry Stamps Used Soon, Need To Stay Longer!

Featured Replies

Hello all,

At the end of this month, 29th November, i will have used up all three of my 30 day entry stamps.

Is it possible to leave the country and get a tourist visa and re-enter with that?

If so, where is the best place to get this?

I asked a travel agent if they can do this for me and they said it was possible, but have quoted me THB 12,500 for an overnight bus from Pattaya, which i thought was a bit expensive.

Thanks in advance..

Yes it is possible.

Vientiane Laos will issue a double entry tourist visa .

Yes it does sound expensive.

Yes, go to Vientiane, Laos, or Kuala Lumpur or Penang, both in Malaysia. There are several posts listing dedicated Visa run bus services from Bangkok to ? for about 2,000 to 3,000 Baht with many things included. This would be your best bet, if you have the time and want to save money.

12,500 Baht IS expensive compared to what is possible, as I said, if you have time and want to save money.

A few Visa Run Companies advertise in the Bangkok Post.

Check out Air Asia to Penang, add in a nights hotel and visa cost and you will still be in pocket from that 12,500 baht quote.

Vientiane is least expensive. Bus to Bangkok then train to Nong Kai.

First time Thailand sir?

Very special price for you, only 12,500 thb :o
