It's a popular programme so there must be one or two fans out there who might like to know that Doctor Who can be found on Thai Channel 7, in English if you have dual language facilities (I didn't dare watch the Thai dubbed version!).

Assuming it is the same time every week, today (Monday) it was on at 2.30 pm.

It's a couple of series old with Billie Piper as his assistant Rose.

Shame about the ads though.

Yes the best Doctor! I might try and watch it next week, though I have already downloaded them all hours after they were first broadcast, but the novel idea of watching it on Thai TV is a must.

I hope the Thai version is not cannibalised like the UBC/True version. They cut out the most innocent bits of kissing (as in the Madame de Pompadour episode) and various bits of gore in others.

Madame de Pompadour episode was on yesterday. Kissing scene was shown. Good but ad breaks too long.

Strange. I saw it was on but didn't pay much attention to it as I didn't think it was the Madame de P episode.

I'm sure it had Billy Pipers' dad wearing an ear device on each ear that fed him "information" from the Cybermen. And everyone stopped dead in the street to hear this stuff and then laughed at the "joke of the day". Do you know what time you were watching? Maybe they showed more than one episode?

That Madame de P episode had very good music. Quite a few people have posted clips of it on Youtube. Here's one:

Didn't think the Thais liked Sci Fi except if it was a big blockbuster film. My wife refuses to watch anything with aliens in.

Yes, you can't really appreciate how good Doctor Who is until you have heard a Dalek speak in it's original Thai.

It's also on Wednesdays (now!) - 2:30 - 3:30.

The ridiculously long, obnoxious and probably "illegal in the West" skin whitening adverts tend to spoil it though.
