Same Day Turn-around At Penang

Had a sign up at Penang consulate. They will now process tourist and transit visas same day, go back between 3 and 4pm to collect. Other visas are presumably as per usual, go back next day at 2pm

This should be welcome news to many. All they need to add to their service now is the double-entry tourist visa, same-day service, and Penang will come out at the top of list of consulates in the region for customer-friendly service.

Yes, a same day double entry tourist visa service would definitely put Penang on the map again.

Before anyone gets too excited about the present offer, we need to know what time the application has to be submitted for a same day pickup becaue the Air Asia flights don't arrive until after 10 am.

Thanks - I logged in to check whether the same-day TR visa service had actually eventuated as they told me it would last time. So it's off to AirAsia for a return ticket now I can book with confidence.

PS: Had a rain jacket on last time for the MC fang last time and it rained, but it also got sunny at times and I will be buying some longish MC gloves to wear this time so I don't get burned again - or maybe that from just going too dam_n fast!
