Been so long since I've needed an extension as usually travelling every few weeks.. Have there been any changes recently or can I still extend my Non 'O' for 30 extra days ? I know the price has gone up to 1900 baht.. But I'd rather pay then drive down to Cambo to get another 90 day stamp.. Only need 30 days as will be off overseas again in December..

No you cannot.

A Non O Visa can only be extended for 12 months if you qualify.

Mmmm.. Maybe I didn't explain myself well.. The Non O visa doesn't expire till July next year.. What I meant was that I have been here for 90 days and wish to extend that by another 26 days.. I used to be able to get a 30 day extension for a few hundred baht.. I know they still do 7 day extensions to tourist visas .. are the 30 day ones still available for Non 'O's ?

No, as Lite Beer stated you can't get a 30 day extension to a Non O visa.

30 day extension are for tourist visas only, on a Non O you can "only" get a one year extension (if you qualify). You may also be able to get a 7 day extension on your Non O, but I guess that will be of no use to you.

If you are on a non-o for marriage or have a Thai child you can get a 60 day extension.

Otherwise a 7 day extension is all you can get.

Okay cheers for clarifying that.. I knew that I had done it in the past.. but rules have changed. Guess it's a swift trip to Haad Lek at the weekend..
