In the early hours of Tuesday Morning, Police Major Wittaya from Pattaya Police Station was called to the Pattaya Town Construction Site in Soi Yumet, Central Pattaya to investigate reports of a fight between a number of the construction workers.

Police arrived and broke up a fight between Burmese and Cambodian Laborers which resulted in injuries sustained by 3 Cambodian Workers who were taken to Hospital.

Police were told that the fight began due to ongoing hatred between both groups of Burmese and Cambodian Workers at the site.

Weapons such as hammers and pick-axes were used during the altercation.

Police checked the immigration status of the workers and they were all found to be legal. No arrests have been made as yet while Police make further checks into who was responsible for the fight and who was actually involved.
