Here for just under 90 days with US passport so planned to do 2 border runs at 30 day intervals. Now have been invited to go to Lao for a few days but it won't cooincide with those border run dates. If I cross the border now thus getting a new 30 day stamp will I still be able to do the other 2 planned crossings/stamps? Is it 90 days that I am allowed to stay and can re-enter as many times as I want or is it that I am only allowed a total of 3 30 day stamps?

You can enter as many times as you want.

The limit is 90 days in a 6 month period.
