Wellington Posted November 16, 2008 Share Posted November 16, 2008 This beautiful moth flew into our fan on the terrace last night before we could turn it off. Damaged his wing and has stayed ever since. Anyone know what it's name is It's about 10inches across wingspan and has two transparent "windows "in each wing. simon43 Posted November 16, 2008 Share Posted November 16, 2008 That's the rare, flesh-eating moth of Sumatra which can inflict a bite that is fatal within 10 seconds to all humans. The bite paralises you and the moth then rapidly eats you alive .. Obviously joking! That's a beautiful moth. Is it unable to fly because of it's damaged wing? Is it eating?
