My English Bulldog (almost a year old) is in desperate need of a female mate. I am not looking to make any money from him at this point (although he is registered and from champion blood-line) but I wouldn't say no to one of the puppies if he is successful. We live in the Bangkok area and can travel if needed. Can anyone help?

Bulldogs are difficult to mate with a female. A friend of mine here in Chiang Rai breeds them and he told me that they have to get the vet to do it by IVF. I would also suggest the you dog is still too young, and it should be left until he is more than two years. My mate has breeding females and if yours is a pedigree I think he would be interested in getting in touch with you, so if you let me have your email sent it by PERSONAL MESSAGE. In the meantime keep him out of sniffing range of any willing bitches!

My Bulldog (Buster) is also at that age and I would like to see him get his leg over. I was offered 25k per pup by a guy in Phuket, I am in Bangkok and did not want to send him down there. I also was not to sure if this guy was pulling my leg as Bulldogs dont go for much more than 30-35k anyway.

I am also the same as the OP because I am not bothered about the money but wouldnt mind a pup from the litter.

true, rare to have natural breedings in bulldogs, and rare to not have to do a c section. many vets prefer that the bitch whelp in office so if needed, can do c section emergeny.

very vew bulldogs have a wide enough passage for their puppies' head and shoulders to go thru properly so stuck pups are super common. and apparently, natural whelping bitches are prized breeders.

i thought buster had skin problems also??? a common genetic problems among bulldogs, sure u want to breed him?

I have an 18 month male APBT who would probably be suitable. 27KG, lean & game, very high prey drive but well socialised and a fantastic temperament with humans, especially kids (we have a 7 y.o daughter). Located in Chiang Mai. No stud fee required but possible pick of litter as we are considering a female companion for him.
