Does anyone know the overland route to take in order to get from phuket to ko tao??? I know a cheap buss that goes from phuket town to surat but form there I dont have a clue??? Can anyone help??? Anone know how i can find out times of boats etc etc ??

Well Koh Tao is an island so overland is imposible wthout heavy boots and some big air tanks but from phuket take the bus from Phang Nga road bus station to Surantani not Don Sak.

From there the ferry gets you to the island from the pier in Surantani.

I think there are two boat per day company called songsome boats about 4 hours and stops in Kho phangan then 45 mins more to tao.

can also go don sak samui then tao but longer

There is also a night boat which takes about 8 hrs not recommended it was 8 hrs of hel_l
